Great hotel! Everything was clean and the staff was friendly. The bathroom in the room was pretty small and didn't have a tub, just a shower- wasn't an issue for me, just giving a heads up. There's an Irish pub attached to the hotel which was really cool. They had great food.
Overall great value for money. Some recent refurbishment works made rooms look nice compared to my stay at the same hotel 18 months ago. Swimming pool and Gym enhance the experience.
Was under renovation so cold in lobby and breakfast area. Lock on back door....there was none. One elevator seemed like the air was on while heat in other. Also the cold one there was a clicking sound. The room was nice and clean missing a microwave but no big deal to us. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. If we ever go to area again we will definitely stay again. The breakfast was wonderful. The kids enjoyed the heated pool. I was hoping for a hot tub being it was the coldest it has been since last winter, but enjoyed our stay even with the cold.
Other than some serious renovations underway near the front lobby, this hotel is great! NEVER in my 5+ adult decades have I had a two minute or less response to a request for something within the room! Truly impressed with the service here and will DEFINITELY return here when visiting again in the area. We had a lot of contact with Kim at the front desk, and even working on Thanksgiving did not remove the smile and pleasant behavior from Kim's countenance. She is a definite asset!
This hotel was very accommodating for us, we stayed here while our home was powerless for 3 days when we showed up I had my two young children by myself while my husband was at work. I forgot my babies pack and play at the house and they offered me one and even came to my room to set it up for us. Our room was spacious and updated nicely. Unfortunately there was no bathtub in that room so the next day we asked to be moved to a room with a tub. They switched us right away but offered no assistance with helping me move everything from the 3rd floor to the 1st by myself and then the room with the tub was much smaller. The tv would hardly stay on it kept losing its signal and when we called to have someone look at it( of course it stopped messing up) he just left and said there was nothing wrong but didn’t bother to stick around and see for himself. The breakfast was decent. Eggs were gross they were just sitting in liquid, sausage was gross, orange juice was gross, but the waffle maker was great. The pool was nice and warm but it looked like it could use a clean. The hotel itself was under renovations so that obviously annoying to listen to.
